The Arts Learning Area offers students the opportunity to engage in a range of different areas such as: Music, Dance, Media Studies, Drama and Visual Arts. Students are given the opportunity to engage in The Arts Learning Area through experiences that allow them to use a process of enquiry, creative thinking and experimentation.

Students engaged in The Arts Learning Area achieve the following outcomes:

• Art Ideas – generate art works that communicate ideas

• Art Skills and Process – use skills, techniques, processes, conventions and technologies of the Arts

• Art Responses – use their aesthetic understanding to respond, reflect and evaluate the Arts

• Arts in Society – understand the role of the Arts in Society.
